Hi Reader After I posted my last Youtube video the morning habits, I had so many people reach out to me and has how to put together a simple strength training program at home. I hear things like this over and over again: “I want to start strength training, but I have no idea what exercises to do or how to put a plan together.” So women end up saving random workouts, jumping from one routine to the next, and never really knowing if they are doing enough. You do not need 40 exercises. You need a handful of good ones and a simple plan. In my new video, I walk you through the 12 moves I would use to build a complete strength program after 50. I also show you how to turn them into a 2-day, 3-day, or 4-day plan, depending on how often you want to train. ( There’s a full pdf of how to do this in the video). I cover the form cues, modifications, sets, reps, and how to make the workouts harder as you get stronger. You can watch it here:
Keep it simple. Pick the plan you can actually stick to and start there. Ruth
